City welcomes season with parade, activities
Santa will be making an early stop in Mansfield, kicking off the season at Hometown Holidays on Saturday. There probably won’t be snow for his sleigh, but there will be plenty of holiday spirit at the annual city-sponsored event and downtown parade.

Three of the Mansfield teams left Tuesday night with a win, and another dropped a game in what is one of the tougher starts to a season in recent memory.
All four boys teams will be in action today at the fourth annual MISD Spring Creek Holiday Classic. All games will be played at Legacy High School, with the first game today tipping off 2:30 p.m.
