Student published in Highlights
The July 2008 issue of Highlights for Children has published a poem titled "Green" in its "Your Own Pages" section by 10-year-old Grayson Hill of Mansfield, a fourth-grade student at J.L. Boren Elementary.
Grayson, the child of Keith and Suzanne Hill, enjoys baseball, Legos, video games, cooking and playing with friends. He hopes to be an inventor when he grows up.
Each year, Highlights readers send the magazine more than 35,000 submissions.
The magazine selects work by boys and girls of all ages and from many different places in the world. By showcasing a representative sample of all the work, Highlights hopes to foster children’s creativity.

Its flagship publication, Highlights magazine, the most recognizable and widely-read children’s magazine in the nation, printed its one-billionth copy in June 2006.
