Church hosts DivorceCare for kids

Children experiencing divorce say they feel alone and helpless. They are scared, sad, and confused. They may hide their feelings from you because they are worried about your happiness or because they do not know how to express their feelings appropriately.

DivoreCare for Kids is a special group to help your children heal from the pain caused by a separation or divorce. DC4K provides your children with a safe and neutral place to recognize and learn to share their feelings.

Each one of the 13 sessions is filled with motivating and exciting activities. Games, crafts, role playing, discussion times, journaling and workbooks help your children process the divorce and move forward in their lives. DC4K is a powerful program for kids age 5-12. Join us at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday starting Sept. 17 at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church, 1201 Texas 360.
