Church offers Letters from Dad

First United Methodist Church of Mansfield is launching a new program this fall called Letters from Dad. Part of a national men’s ministry developed by Greg Vaughn, this program helps fathers learn to leave a legacy to their families by saying the things they’ve always wanted to say but didn’t know how to, all through the lost art of letter writing. Letters from Dad not only teaches men "why" to write letters, they also learn the mechanics of letter writing and how to keep them preserved for posterity.

At 7 p.m. Aug. 26, there will be a free kick-off dinner for Letters from Dad (upstairs in the youth area in the A&E Building). We invite all men to come learn more about this program and enjoy a great barbecue buffet.
