Elvis impersonator back in the building
Although it has been 31 years since Elvis Presley passed on Aug. 16, 1977, his appeal continues to flourish. The historic Farr Best Theater in downtown Mansfield will be the place to see Johnny Rockit’s Tribute to the King on Saturday. There will be a matinee show at 3 p.m. and an evening show at 8 p.m.
Johnny recreates an Elvis Las Vegas-style stage show with a live band and background vocalists while performing the great hits from the 1950’s-1970’s. He has performed for audiences across Texas, in Las Vegas, the Pacific Northwest and other locales. Enjoy an evening of music and the colorful costumes of Elvis’ Las Vegas years. You may just end up with your own teddy bear or silk scarf as a souvenir.
The Farr Best Theater is located at 109 Main St Tickets are $15. Concessions will be available.
