Wedding

Kelly Richelle Kimball became the bride of Gregory Ray Rangel in a double-ring ceremony held Nov. 8 at the Corner Wedding Chapel in North Richland Hills.

Officiating at the afternoon ceremony was Sledge Thomas.

The bride is the daughter of Clint and Vicki Seale, formerly of Mansfield, and the granddaughter of Leida Harpole of Fairfield.

The groom is the son of Gary and Faith Rangel of North Richland Hills.

Given in marriage by her father and mother, the bride wore a strapless gown of white Italian matte silk embellished with pearls and rocaille beads.

The gown had a cathedral-length train adorned with satin buttons and the bride’s veil was accented with pearls.

She carried a cascading bouquet of crystal blush miniature calla lilies, cool water purple roses, white stephanotis with lavender pins placed at the center and white dendrobium orchids and leather leaf fern.

Serving the bride as matron of honor was the her lifelong friend, Jodi Roper. Bridesmaids included Kori Ellis, sister of the bride; Rene Burson, friend of the bride; and Hayley Seale, niece of the bride.

Flower girls were Savannah Ellis, niece of the bride; Larissa and Christina Rangel, daughters of the groom; and Addyson Roper, the matron of honor’s daughter.

The attendants carried three long-stem white calla lilies wrapped in white lace ribbon and the flower girls dropped purple rose petals along the bride’s path from their baskets.

Best man was the groom’s brother, Terry Rangel.

Groomsmen included Joel Goodwin and Jeff Galle, both friends of the groom, and Martin Rangel, son of the groom.

Ushers included the bride’s nephew, Hunter Freund.

After the ceremony, a reception was held, coordinated by facility director, Rita Thomas.

The bride’s cake featured three square tiers of red velvet and white icing, embellished with purple ribbon, piped detail and fresh flowers.

The groom’s cake made from Kahlua chocolate was surrounded with chocolate-covered strawberries.

The top of the cake featured a F-4 model airplane significant of the couple’s engagement.

The groom proposed to his new wife on the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier in San Diego, Calif., in front of the F-4 Phantom Jet.

The bride attended Tarrant County College and is employed with Education Employees Credit Union.

The groom is a graduate of the University of Texas in Arlington and is employed with Time Warner Cable.

After the wedding, the newlyweds traveled to San Juan, Puerto Rico, for their honeymoon. They will make their home in North Richland Hills.
