Summer Reading Club

The summer reading program has kicked off with hundreds of Mansfield residents participating. It is not only great fun but also has been proven to help children maintain and improve their reading skills to be better prepared for academic achievement when school starts again. Come by the library this month to get your reward for completing your reading log. All reading logs are due by 2 p.m. July 30. Your log will also be entered in a raffle for a prize. The drawing will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 1. You do not have to be present to win.

Special Storytime Events

Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. children ages 3- 6 are invited to a special storytime "Pecos Bill" presented by Storytime Theater. Schoolers (ages 7-11) will enjoy "Whirl and Spin on a String" at 2 p.m. Toddler storytimes continue Thursdays at 11 a.m. through July.

Friday Afternoon Matinee

Escape the heat! Join us at 3 p.m. July 11 for a free family-friendly movie. Be surprised or phone the library for the movie title.

As the Page Turns
