Last Wednesday and Thursday my family participated in a program at Mansfield High School called "Every 15 Minutes." If you have never heard of it, it is a program for drunken driving awareness. A sad statistic that Texas is not proud of, is the fact that we are second in the nation on alcohol-related deaths.
Every 15 minutes the sound of a heart beat came on the PA system and then flat lined. Then a dark-hooded figure entered a classroom to announce the death of a classmate.

There has always been a competition for laughter between two comedy troupes: Summit’s Illiterate Book Club and Mansfield’s Pipin’ Hot Bowl of Comedy. With the birth of Legacy High School, a new rivalry has sprung from a combination of old Summit improvisers and fresh new faces. They have created Mission: Improvable, the newest addition to improv troupes in Mansfield. Because of the sisterly ties between the troupes’ sponsors, the Improvarama, a co-show rather than the annual showdown, has been created.
